Would you all like to keep the current style or go to something more colorful. This site is for you guys.

Definitely vote for more colorful, and to change it for the holidays.

I like that Vista theme too! But I don't think it really fits in with a GoPets style website.

Any chance of offering members the option of viewing the forum in the skin they prefer?

Oh i love that one fritzy.I think we or you :p should pick say 10 skins and then have a pol for the default one and the rets include them so each user can pick their own favorite XD

Unfortunately, I think at ForumMotion, you can only pick one skin. I could be wrong but I couldn't find the option to add more than one.

Yes you can only have one, but it can be changed say per holiday. There is no choice to let individuals pick there own

What a pity. It would have been a fun addition to the forum. In that case, a change every holiday sounds good to me.

sorry to be a wet sock, but a huge change in outlook will make it very difficult for me.

that being said, it's quite alright if we change the colours an only them, on say, a holiday. that's just neat

the text is too small and i can't read it. can't add colour or font properly because the buttons line is cut-off at "add flash" when editing/adding.



my gods, it's looks more like the gpx+ forums now

atleast the old look was more like the bbcode used on the old gopets forum. this stuff is too "fancy"

i couldn't really get into the gopets game until it practically ended.

but there are atleast 5 other people that agrees with me...

I think this looks great! Maybe if the text was bigger that would help you Zaphod?

I suppose if you don't like the layout, you don't like the layout. But, you can increase the font size on your end to make it easier for you to read.

In Firefox, just press Control and the + buttons on your keyboard simultaneously to zoom in, or Control plus the - button to zoom out. Press Control + 0 to reset. This zooms both images and text. If you'd rather just increase the text, go to View > Zoom and tick "Zoom Text Only".

This works more or less the same in Internet Explorer 7 or higher.

Just curious, though - What browser and version are you using? Because the buttons should not be cut off in the post editor.

MrFritz - If you agree that the font size is to small I may be able to help you change it by tweaking the theme's CSS.

I use opera, and I am *not* switching, i am to dependant on it XD

but seriously, I think anything other than a gpx+-like layout is better.
it's not just the colours, it's everything, the way it's organised on the page, the dropdown instead of links on each person, light text on dark background in the menu, the font, that the emoticons are on the other side, everything

also I know i can zoom, but then i have to set "adjust to windowith" which i can do, sure, but it's a hassle to do it for every page I open (especially since new pages will get opened by e-mail client after replies to topics)

honestly i want the old one back, it was closer to the way the old gopets forum was.

and that this one looks like the gpx+ one is a BIG negative, not just because of how unfriendly they are there, but because i find their forums hard to use from an usability point of view...

i can't explain it, maybe it is because of my ADHD, or a combo of sorrow/squick
but i *really* don't like it.

I think you should alternate the backgrounds according to date!

I have no qualms against changing themes, but I want them to be consistent art wise.
