Youtube Upload/Download Question
I was just wondering if anyone could tell me whether you are able to redownload any video you upload to Youtube.
I am hoping to be able to store the video captures I took of the last couple of days of GoPets on Youtube until I can reformat my laptop.

Re: Youtube Upload/Download Question
I don't know the answer to this niquae, but I love your title. My husband always complains that I use "upload" "download" etc. wrong. So now I say, Honey could you help me upload-download-reload-unload this? I figure one of those has to be right.

LOL. You are right. One of those is bound to be right. What does your husband say in response?

Re: Youtube Upload/Download Question
Thanks, daeninn. I think I'll take use that add-on if it should turn out that I cannot redownload my video files. There's an option to download mp4 but I do not know for certain whether that will download the video file as is or something else. When I try it, the address(?) seems to be whatever the original file address was plus the .mp4, which is why I am not quite certain whether that is precisely what I am looking for.

He just gives me that "How can my wife spend so much time on the computer and not know what she's talking about?" look.

Re: Youtube Upload/Download Question
I download them as MP4 and i can view them with media player classic or windows media player.I'm sure you can with winamp if you have the requried codecs. Not sure about other programs since those 2 are the only ones i use.
As for codecs i have installedK-light mega coded pack.Ace mega codec pack is just as good.If i remeber right both are free and you can find them on www.softpedia.com

Re: Youtube Upload/Download Question
I don't know much about it, all I've learnt is that the quality of our video decreased while our video transfer to youtube. So even if we redownload them from youtube after we uploaded them, we will only keep a lower quality video of our origins. Not great.
Maybe use some CD-R or DVD-R to save your contents before you reformat your laptop will be a better choice.

Thanks for your replies.
I didn't realize that about the quality. Phoo. It's too late now. Thanks, anyway. I appreciate it.
