I don't know who user this is/was, but she made some adorable GoPets wallpapers last year!

Anyone know, was this just for fun, or was she one of the developers, creating a game that never came to be? Either way, it's looks great! I'd play it. ^_^

i believe Oraclesaturn was not on the dev team or anything, just a super artist with some great ideas.

i was a lurker at the time, but i remember people getting signiature pictures made by her too.

aw reminds me of MoNimBo and her awesome art too.
We were very lucky to have quite a few realy good artists with us in the forums.

She wasn't staff, as far as I know, but I think she was paid to do some specific artwork. These wallpapers were on the website of one of GoPets partners, the one in the Philippines. I have a few of them full size

Oh, I was lucky enough to get one of her sigs, too. This was back when I only had on pet.

I vaguely remember Oracle (or maybe someone else) was hired to create some playing cards featuring our pets. I never got to see Thirteen's card... but I do remember seeing completed versions of a few other people's pets. Anyone have those pics anywhere?

Yes, it was Oracle. I never saw the picture of Roshambo. Since nothing ever came of the project, I wouldn't be surprised if she didn't do all of the cards. It wasn't GoPets directly doing the board game, it was the guy who I believe wrote the original mini games, and eventually parted company with GoPets on not very good terms it seemed. I forget his username, he had a monkey with glasses as an avatar. Anyway, I sent Oracle a note on deviantART about the card pictures, don't know if she'll answer.

Update: She said she'd look for the card art, wasn't sure if she had it anymore.

OK, she checked. Thirteen wasn't one of the pets she drew, unfortunately.

Oracle posted a deviation with the art she'd done for the game, thumbnail size, including the pets she'd drawn (posted all the usernames, too). I don't know who on the list comes here, I'm in contact with some of
them so I'll let them know.

It's nice seeing some forgotten forum regulars on that list.

Yeah, lots of lost people on that list, people I don't know how to contact anymore. On the other hand, there are several I can reach (and will when I have time)--which is surprising, given the ephemeral quality of online life--goes to show how close knit the GoPets community was (and still is, even though the game is gone).
