Yeah i think it was 2 weeks.Not sure.And i agree i love it when they are easy to get.I can do with hard too lol but not impossible.

What time zone is DC in again?I need to try and get night limestones.Gah i hated this night/day thing when it came out and i still doo.Makes it complicated lol

You don't have to get day and night ones - these are different than the sunrise/sunset ones. The dragons/hatchlings actually change on your scroll every day when it is night/day. So, at night you'll have night ones and in the day you'll have day ones.

Ohhh that rocks I didn't notice since i usually check my scroll/hatchlings during the day LOL

Woohoo - my dead egg is finally gone. Those pesky vampire bites, lol. Now I have to try and figure out what type of dragons I can breed my Bluna with. Guess I'll have to dive into the forum and try to see if anyone has had success with that yet.

Edit: Saw on the forum that Bluna x Gold and Bluna x Winter have both produced Bluna eggs. Tried breeding mine with a winter and didn't get an egg.

What's up with the Dove drama? Anyone know what went on?

Also, wondering when the Valentines will be breedable again. There's a whole thread of requesters/donaters, but I don't see any VDay eggs on Soti yet.

I'm hoping that the cave will start having the regular supply of eggs back again soon - kind of sick of seeing only limestone/leaf/electric.

Saw this quote on the forums today:

Why would breeding blacks or whites give us metallics?

I would imagine it will go like xmas....should be breeding one week before actual v-day?

dunno about that other than they make great pairings for metallics?

Dove drama? Haven't heard. I'll have to check out that link some time this weekend.

I think that the Valentines will be breedable starting Feb. 14 and the week following.

Blacks and whites are favorite common mates for metallics. I myself am quite tired of those particular pairings.

I am confused.Which are the metalics?

I am hoping someone will get me some valentine's eggs.The net cafe i was going closed down and since my internet sucks i doubt i will be able to get any.Unless they will be like the xmas ones and flood the cave to the max lol

I can try to catch for anyone here. I also have last years dragons if anyone missed them. If you breed eggs though they have to be gotten rid of within the hour or they'll auto-abandon

I think the metallics they are referring to are gold/silver.

All I know about the Dove drama is that TJ says she apologizes for the drama and that she would not be leaving and taking her sprites with her. I personally think that once you make a sprite for DC, it should belong to DC, and a spriter leaving shouldn't be able to take those away.

I can also catch for anyone. I'm hoping that it will be like Christmas though, and that the cave will be full of Valentine's eggs for a long time. Anyway, I'll be checking in here in case anyone wants help.

Old Valentine's Dragon Breeding: February 8-15 (See the calendar if you aren't sure what that means)
Valentine's Day Event: February 14th (All Day)

2-dragon limit is in place for both breeds

Well, bred my 2 V-Day dragons and my daughter bred her 2, and we got - not one V-Day egg. I was going to give up one of my adults (after breeding it) so I could freeze a hatchling like I did with the Christmas dragons, but no go. Guess I'll try if they are breedable again before the cut-off date.

I'll check in here on the 14th to see if anyone needs help catching.

Thanks for the post, Miti. I had not been checking the News there so I didn't know about the Valentines.

I've been scroll locked for some time now but I anticipate being free enough to breed in 4 hours (because I don't know about you but my hatchlings are taking 4 days to grow up regardless of the number of views/unique views) so I can breed my Valentine. I would like to be able to freeze the hatchling. I have heard that there were difficulties breeding them so I am hoping that it will not be the case for me.

On a happier note, I finally got one of my sisters to join!

I did not have a lot of luck breeding them, either. I will try again on Monday...

Oh i was about to try buy guess i will wait since noone has had any lick so far.

My vampire refused the newborn Good thing i have 2 adult ones lol Now i need to wait 10 days to try again gah!Looks like you get one then next time you try you lose it and so on.

I wish TJ would have a better system from what eggs are in the cave to breeding and so on.

Sorry you guys didn't have luck with your V-Day dragons either. You'd think they'd be more fertile given they are the dragons of love, lol.

So many people walked away from the cave when it was down for weeks and more will walk, now.

daeninn, my vampire killed my egg too. My first bite was a success. I kind of expected the 2nd to fail but... ah well.

I was hoping that my sister would get bored or not play it very diligently so I can "borrow" her scroll occasionally. Unfortunately, my plan backfired. I wasn't able to tear her away from Dragon Cave all day today.

Thank you M2M.I tend to get obsessed with everything really lol so i need to have everything organised and all XD I only wish i could have the hatchlings have the same parents.But TJ messed that up so in a way i was lucky LOL It would take way too much time to do that especially with the alts @@

I think lately it's kinda obvious that TJ isn't managing the game as he used to.And i for one quit at some point but my collecting mania brought me back.The thought of missing out of eggs was killing me

The 2010 Valentine's eggs are in the cave.


I found them pretty easy to catch. I used my patented "press F5 and click your mouse like a maniac" technique.

I'll check back here later today to see if anyone needs help catching.

Gah i just remembered about the egg so i loged in and the cave is clocked by like 20 black eggs and almost 800 ppl on the main page O_O so you can imagine how slow is loading for me
