Dragon Cave Links and Information (Updated May 26, 2010)

Ughh about the three sprites. Why have 3 and only allow us 2? I froze one of my hatchlings anyway, so I'll just be getting the one type.

I finally spent several hours updating my dragon cave pics, so I'll add the new ones to the first post here.

At least we didn't have something like the "leetle tree" this year to drive us crazy.

Edit: I guess we'll all just get one type now, even if we have more than one adult. Sounds like the color of wing is determined by your scroll, so both will be the same.

Yup, that's what people are saying in the forum thread now. I don't know whether it was that way before people supposedly "cheated" to get the wing color they wanted, or if it is now that way since TJ randomly reset the wing colors on everyone's scrolls. Who knows - the whole situation could change again by tomorrow, lol.

These are the different sprites. I'm not even gonna pick a favorite as that will assuredly cause me not to get that one on my scroll.

Grrr i didn't have time to check on mine so they both turned out to be female.And i didn't get the chance to freeze one in baby stage Hope we can bereed them this xmas so i can release one,get a new egg and freeze it

And it sucks that theere are 3 types and you can only have 2.Things like these make me not want to play anymore since i am an obsessed collector lol and i feel the need to have them all

I'm stil looking for a red striped egg or female hatchling if anyone has spare XD Also for the new 3 ones.I never see them in the cave gah!!

I was late getting the Cheery eggs (got them on the 27th) so mine are still hatchling stage and I froze one.

I'm also a collector but I've become more resigned to not getting all the dragon sprites on my scroll since it is obvious I won't be able to do so.

Did you see the special Cheery dragon that TJ gave to the spriters of this Christmas dragon? It has a tan body. Lots of people thought it looked the best out of the 4 but I have to admit that I don't particularly care for it myself.

daeninn, I'll keep you in mind if my two white striped dragons produce another red stripe. I already have one and am aiming to get all the different colors from my white striped ones.

Thanks to a kind soul, I received my first vampire egg early January 1, 2010, and it hatched later today as well. XD It only took over a year for me to get a vampire egg but better late than never.

I'm a bit disappointed I don't have a dragon that either hatched or was caught or bred on Christmas though. Phooey.

I only need 1 more red stripe lol but my white blue and green pairs won't make one no matter what lol.

I'm still trying to get female vampire dragons.My 1st one went to nona and the 2nd one went poof because the monther rejected him or something silly like that.Waiting for my 3rd atempt now lol.

Dae, I was able to breed a red stripe for you on my daughter's scroll. What messenger do you use again? I'll sign on when I can over the next few days and try to catch you.

I'm in the central time zone (one hour earlier than eastern). I'll just keep signing in to Yahoo when I'm online and hopefully we'll meet up.

Hey Dae - glad we got the stripey transferred.

I picked up an Ice Dragon egg for you from the cave. It'll be a few hours before I can transfer it - I'll get on Yahoo when it's ready.

OK, Ice Dragon egg transfer failure, lol. We can try again though cause I picked up a Magma caveborn, and I have a couple Ice eggs I bred. I don't know if you want them too, or are just wanting caveborn. See you on Yahoo.

Wow. m2m is a good drop catcher.

I managed to get an Ice egg around the holiday season. I was surprised. hehe. Now to see if I can pick up the magma and lightning ones.

Thanks for the offer, m2m. To be honest, I'm still nearly always scroll-locked with lineage eggs for the Seasonal Lineage Project. I hope in a year or two I can start completing my scroll again. lol.

LOL Margo, just tried to find you the other day but you weren't on at the time. I promise to try again soon. And, yes, collecting dragon eggs would help, so get busy.

Dae - I checked all the dragons I could on Soti and the bred legendaries (ice, magma, thunder) always have one non-legendary parent. So, I guess it's not just mine being stubborn, lol.

Legendaries are considered rares, I have read, so that would mean they cannot be bred to each other or to other rares.

If you already knew that, ignore me.

I have a question about the old bright pinks. Is there any way to get them anymore? I've tried to breed my one and only, but have only gotten the new lighter pinks, and the ones in the cave always turn out to be the light ones for me too.

Nope. The original spriter for the old bright pinks didn't like the sprite and requested they no longer be made available. You cannot get the old pink sprites now, and breeding them will only result in the new light pink sprites.


Edit: I finally updated the GP DC Scroll List into active/semi-active and inactive lists.

Darn not fair!Why can't he let every dragon breed with it's own kind so i can have babys from the same parents instead from affairs

Man, that sucks. I only have one bright pink adult, not even a hatchling.

Another question. Are all the alt blacks hatchlings curly tailed now? I haven't seen any of the standing ones in quite a while.
