Re: Dragon Cave Links and Information (Updated May 26, 2010)
Thanks.
Last night I got really lucky and managed to catch my first magma! It's a caveborn from the late night drops. I was so excited that I could have run around the room with glee. XD Then I found a CB spring in the AP. Apparently CB seasonals are harder to find in the drops, and I've been told that their trade value has gone up! o_O This news is a bit alarming for those of us working on the Seasonal Lineage Projects.

Hey there gals. I have a cb Hellfire Wyvern for you niquae - it's an egg at 4 days 2 hours right now, but I can hold onto it as a hatchling if you need to unscroll-lock.
Dae - I have a blue dino for you, I think you need a hatchling? It's already hatched and at 5 days 8 hours. So, let me know as soon as you can and I can transfer it over if you want it.
I'll try to be on the hunt for some more of the new eggs soon.

A Hellfire! Cool! Thanks a bunch, m2m. I actually have a couple of common eggs that I don't have an urgent need for so I can unlock anytime, I think.

Great - what messenger do you use again? I remember your name isn't niquae on it, lol.
I'll sign on to MSN & Yahoo tomorrow - I think it was one of those you're on.

All transferred. I'll transfer over the purple dino egg tonight - it says I have to wait 3 more hours.

Hi m2m, sent you a PM about tonight. My apologies!
TJ has put up a new State of the Cave:
http://forums.dragcave.net/index.php?showtopic=92629
We can expect 3-4 new breeds next week. o_O Oh dear. I haven't even managed to collect all the "old" breeds either. lol. Guess this will keep me busy at DC for quite a while then.

Re: Dragon Cave Links and Information (Updated May 26, 2010)
Boy, TJ sure keeps us on our toes. I hope they put the new ones, and only the new ones, in the cave for a few days. It's so much easier to catch them that way.
I found this part quite interesting - wondering if they are going to start retiring certain breeds?
Dealing with increasing numbers of breeds
As more and more releases occur, it's pretty obvious that the increasing variety of dragons makes it harder to collect them all. We're developing a number of solutions to this problem, and once we think we have the best possible options we'll present them to you and gather user feedback.

Mm, I hope not. People did not like it when the Bright Pinks nor when the Frills were to be retired.
I am hoping that he is planning on allowing us to adopt more eggs/hatchlings.

Re: Dragon Cave Links and Information (Updated May 26, 2010)
Sorry for the double post but...they're here!!!!
http://forums.dragcave.net/index.php?showtopic=92951
He brought out the Diurnal (I think that's what it is called?) dragon! That's the dawn and dusk one. I remember really liking the sprite when I saw it being worked on.
Edit: Third, orange one, is apparently breed only. Someone got one by breeding magi and water.
Edit again:
Also saw someone post this:
QUOTE (Jollymad @ May 26 2010, 02:16 AM)
In the news thread I saw this:
So maybe the Dawn/Dusk will breed with Ochredrakes?
*whistles innocently*
BTW, you might want to pick up another one of the "dawn/dusk" eggs in about 12 hours. Not before then, though.
(post by Completely Different)
Editing again: I completed the update to the first post (I think). I removed a lot of dead links and added some new ones, particularly in the auto-Hatchery section so if you are looking for new places to hatch your eggs and raise your dragons, check it out.

As if we needed it to be any more complicated than just a regular egg drop, lol. I picked up some of the 2 new kinds from the cave, my magis and waters didn't give me the new orange egg though.

Re: Dragon Cave Links and Information (Updated May 26, 2010)
*sniffles* My sister no longer plays as one addicted, but she still refuses to relinquish her scroll to me, err, that is to say, allow me to watch over her scroll *cough, cough*.
And then she got mad at me for not telling me about the new drops as soon as I found out about them even if it was past midnight at the time. lol.
So now I have to hope that the people I am holding these eggs for can accept them as soon as possible.
Edit: *runs around screaming gleefully* I got one! I got a Glory egg (the diurnal one I spoke of) by myself. *gets slapped by sleeping sister*

Re: Dragon Cave Links and Information (Updated May 26, 2010)
Anyone get this message before?
Freeze You cannot freeze this hatchling because you have frozen 10 hatchlings in the past two weeks.
I never have, but I got it today. I'm trying to finish up my male/female frozen hatchlings for the last 2 sets of dragon releases. Now I've got a bunch of hatchlings on the way that I will have to abandon or let them clutter up my scroll with adults I didn't want. Wonder how long the limit lasts?

I have not but that is because I do not freeze that many hatchlings at the moment. That is a limit that TJ had implemented a while ago. It'll go away eventually over the next couple of weeks. You'll just have to watch how many hatchlings you freeze every two weeks.

Re: Dragon Cave Links and Information (Updated May 26, 2010)
Just curious to know whether anyone here is collecting the badges. As far as I am aware of, there are 4:
- Easter Basket: collect all the eggs over Easter Basket weeks
- Number of Dragons Trophy: determined by the number of dragons you have on scroll
- July 4th Fireworks: log in on July 4th
- Splash!: randomly acquired by using the Shallow Water BSA, Splash
In hopes of obtaining the Splash! badge, I finally bred myself a Shallow Water dragon, which should have grown up by now. You can apparently use this BSA once a day.

I guess I'm collecting them by accident, lol. Good thing I happened to log in on July 4th or I woulda been ticked off. As for the Splash one, I didn't even know there was one, lol. Started Splashing today, but always get the "nothing happened" message. Sort of like the Summon power - have been summoning with my scroll and Maeghan's since it first came out, and still nothing. Arghhh!

Re: Dragon Cave Links and Information (Updated May 26, 2010)
m2m, I noticed that under Neglected Dragons, the description says: These dragons aren't made anymore.
Did you put that? If so, just wanted to let you know that you can still get Neglected dragons. There is actually a group of players who have been experimenting (some quite successfully) on getting Neglected dragons. I have even seen a Neglected egg or so (some sort of puke green color ).
I should put this as a link. But anyway, if anyone is interested in trying for Neglected, here's a forum for those who work together to help each other out with that goal:
